The centrally located Rock Solid Backpackers Rotorua offers free WiFi, a neighboring rock-climbing wall and a spacious guest lounge including a tour desk, a billiards table and a cinema. We stayed in the private room which was such a good size. Had a tv, mini fridge, kettle, fan, storage space, comfortable bed & decent size ensuite. Was quiet, lots of communal areas, washing machine on site, nice staff & so close to all the main attractions. Definitely recommend staying here!

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines. Great location. One can explore neighborhood by foot or drive easily to places like Maori Cultural Center or even to The Robbiton. Rotorua is cozy and the hostel was above expectation for my small family group.

The beds are really comfy and the area was quiet. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped and kept very clean.

Smoke Lake Hot Springs Lodge and Camp is in the heart of Rotorua on the edge of the famous Kuirau Geothermal Park. We are a family run business and have been here for 38 years. Hot pool was open until late. The cabin was clean, toilet was really nice, also the heater was good to have for the cold weather. They have a pool table which is pretty cool and a free simple, but nice breakfast. Location was the best, walking distance every where!
