Newly opened and refurbished in October 2020, Wanderlust NZ is a waterfront hostel located in a historical building in downtown Tauranga. One of the nicest hostels I've been to! I loved the location, very beautiful building, and the terrace overlooking the bay is the perfect spot to have breakfast! Shout-out to the staff! They were so nice and helpful (especially Luciano), as a solo traveler it is much appreciated. The bathrooms and showers were clean, the dorms as well.

The centrally located Rock Solid Backpackers Rotorua offers free WiFi, a neighboring rock-climbing wall and a spacious guest lounge including a tour desk, a billiards table and a cinema. The staff was incredibly helpful!

Amazing hostel - very clean (maybe the clenaest hostel I've seen in my travels) and well taken care of all faciltiies..Shared Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were a bit old ashioned but very clean. They have laundry possibilities and the rooms have heaters (well needed when it's winter in NZ).

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines. Staff very kindly let me check in early .place is very central.room was spotless

Located on a quiet street opposite Blake Park, Seagulls Guesthouse offers free fibre WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from Mount Maunganui Beach. Great guest house with really welcoming host. Very clean and tidy place and the bed was very comfortable. Shared bathrooms but kept immaculate and great shower. Fantastic kitchen dinning area with lots of space and free tea and coffee. Lovely living area too and liked the property security used to enter the building and the room.

It’s a great place to meet nice people :)

The beds are really comfy and the area was quiet. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped and kept very clean.
