Set on a farm just 200 metres from the shores of Hardangerfjord, this property offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The on-site restaurant specialises in Norwegian and Thai food. Em and her team were so kind and genuinely friendly, truly invested in making my stay perfect. Amazingly comfortable bed and everything was spotlessly clean. My first Norwegian breakfast was spectacular. Big thanks for the lovely packed lunch too, it made my hike even more special.

Situated by the Sør Fjord in the Hardanger region, this guesthouse offers free WiFi and rooms with shared or private bathroom facilities. The 14th-century Ullensvang Church is 150 metres away. Beautifully located with a view over the fjord. Many great hikes are accessible by public transport if you get up early enough to catch the morning bus just leaving at the road below the hotel. Breakfast was very good! Nicely maintained facilities to cook in the evening.

Offering a garden, Trolltunga Studios is located in Odda. Folgefonna National Park is 16 km from the property. The building was just in front of the lake with a great view. Our room didn't have a lake-view window. The studio itself was nice and clean. A small kitchen with cookware, and also, there was a big shared kitchen on the ground floor in case we needed some extra things. For example, we took some spices and salt from there. There was a very kind guy who welcomed us, apparently, he is not there all the time, and check-in is usually done by yourself, but we were lucky because he also helped us with some suggestions for hikes and other places to visit during our stay. There was a free parking garage on the property. Overall, we were very much satisfied with everything.
