It's literally right at the beach. I got there in the early afternoon, just planning on an overnight stay, and it was immediately clear that I needed to stay longer. I dropped off my things, got my cat situated, changed into my swimwear and ran off into the magnificent waves, best I've had on my trip down the coast of Morocco. To my surprise, there were lifeguards, who kept a sharp eye on swimmers, and the beach was super clean, even though I had read that there was a lot of garbage everywhere. I don't know if that's seasonal, but other than a single water bottle and candy wrapper, there was nothing on the beach or in the water, which is honestly a bit perplexing, because I didn't see anybody cleaning up. Anyway, my room was super clean, the sheets were ridiculously soft, and I could hear and see the waves from my bed. It gets humid in the evening, but just keeping the door open for 10-15 minutes was enough to clear the air and happily snuggle under the aforementioned soft sheets. I've only once stayed at a place, where I could walk from my bed into the waves in 1-2 minutes, and I paid a lot more the other time. 😅 Bonus is the delicious, freshly caught fish for dinner, right there on the patio. Needless to say, I came back on my return trip a week later. Fantastic place all around.

Auberge Aain Nakhla mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Guelmim. We liked everything of this place! During the day it is pleasant to stroll around the oasis or relax in the garden, which is a real jewel. Beautiful nights in the tent around the fire sipping traditional tea with music and conversation. Salah, the super friendly owner, who speaks fluent English, treated us to delicious Moroccan food like tajine, harira and Berber omelette. He also organized for us a 4X4 tour out in the desert. Don't miss the kasbah museum nearby. We'd definitely like to be back.
