The place was also really clean and nice and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

From our room, we had a great view of the accommodation's garden, which was very beautiful. The room itself is also decorated in beautiful colors that match the garden. In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Kandy! The family that runs it is incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The place is spotless, and the breakfast provided is delicious.I felt very safe during my stay. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Kandy! Highly recommended!

Shalu gave a good rate for the drop hire to Dabulla and he has a very good knowledge about the country so good English, very helpful. Thank you so much.

Menawarkan taman dan WiFi percuma, Catch The Ella Train Hostel terletak di Kandy, 1.8km dari Taman Botani Kandy Royal dan 6.7km dari Stesen Kereta Api Kandy. The owner is such an easy guy to get along with. He has a great sense of humor. Breakfast everyday was different and so delicious! He took me on a tour to the tea factory, an artist studio, a village, and an Ayuverdic spa. He ended our tour with a treat (baked goods and homemade biryani) when I finished my massage. He also offered to give a tour of the Buddhist temples. This hostel is extremely close to the train station and easy to access Royal Botanical Garden by bus. Even the complimentary soap here smells amazing. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel and I've made a wonderful lifelong friend. I would recommend for solo travellers especially because of the delicious free breakfast and the activities that the host has planned.

Lovely Stay at Bliss Hotel! Had a wonderful experience at Bliss Hotel in Kandy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It’s in a peaceful location but still close enough to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
