At the hostel all rooms come with a seating area. I really liked the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Agra Hostel. The space was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The owner, Nalaka, was absolutely brilliant - so helpful and genuine, he really made the stay memorable. Food was also amazing, I had both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the banana pancakes. And the coffee!!! Soooo good

A very social hostel with a great atmosphere and a great staff. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gives us many tips on things to do on the area and takes us to surfing lessons in the morning if we want. In the evening we all gather around a tasty family dinner cooked by the staff. There's even a skate park in the hostel ! Good location at 15min by walk from town-center and close to several beach in a quiet stress ! Bathrooms and dorms are clean with fans above each bed or AC. I highly recommend this place !

I stayed there three times on my trip through Sri Lanka and each time it felt like coming home. The hostel has a great location and the room is quiet, which is really nice. There are only four beds and two bathrooms in the dorm, which is big advantage. There is a shared kitchen and a cozy courtyard. The host Ruwan is a great guy and helped me out of a jam more than once. I was able to learn a lot from him about Sri Lanka but also about life. This hostel is especially great if you plan on staying a little longer and want to really unwind. I am very grateful for the time I had here.

Room cleaning everyday and towels changing. Dorm bed is like a capsule which personal light and socket plug, so you have privacy. Ac was working good and shower was fine. No hot water, with with temperature outside it was absolutely fine (it was not cold water as sun was heating the water tank).

The property is non-smoking and is located 500 metres from Arugam Bay Beach. It had only just opened its doors and we were met with the warmest welcome from the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much
