The hotel also has hammocks, books, and board games. The island the guest house it on is beautiful and the people are very kind. If you rent a scooter or bike, it is easy to get to the other islands. The food provided by the guesthouse is excellent and fairly priced. Great place to relax, meet other travelers, and enjoy the best of Southern Laos. They also provide cooking classes and fishing. The owner provides free drinking water. Bring your own reusable bottle if you can. Otherwise you can fill your plastic water bottle. I

Feels more like staying at a friend’s home than just a guesthouse. Perfect for budget travelers — I’d totally stay again!

Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .
