Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Good atmosphere. Nice reception staff. Hotel clean. Such a pity that we have short time to spend in the hostel. Shared space is nice and good vibes.

Piece Hostel Kyoto dibuka pada bulan April 2013 dengan kemudahan-kemudahan serba baru. Ia terletak di lokasi yang strategik dalam jarak hanya 3 minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen JR Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shared area is clean and cosy. The location is near to train and bus station.

It’s a really Japanese style guesthouse,and it is near the Kyoto station which is a walkable distance for you to arrive there by ur feet. And staff (or owner) is really kind and looking so much younger than his age lol

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. The tradicional! Room was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the owner is the cherry on top.

Special space accurately designed with maximum attention to details. Very safe and comfortable. Great kitchen with all you need and your personal drawer with glassware. Common space with video projector. I wish to watch some Japanese movie next time with other guests :) Two common bathrooms for three rooms. Never busy. Located in a local district which I personally liked as it gives you a possibility to see local vibe a bit and take a rest from tourist crowds. 15-20 minutes by bus and you are back in a melting pot. And of course the hosts… Shin and Kenichi are very sympathetic and welcoming guys. They make you accommodated and give you all the tips you need. You immediately feel like you visit friends. I really appreciated it being solo traveler in Kyoto. All the luck to you, Shin. Hope to have a possibility to come to your place again one day.

Menawarkan teres dan pemandangan bandar, Guest House Hennka Kyoto terletak di Kyoto, 16-minit berjalan kaki dari Kuil Sanjusangen-do. We spent 7 nights at this guesthouse, and it was an important part of our wonderful experience in Kyoto. The couple that runs the guesthouse became friends with us. They fed us a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and cabbage salad, which we enjoyed every morning. We had a great time talking with the wife (who can speak English conversationally) every morning, as well as the three other couples who came and went during our long stay. This guesthouse is definitely for people who enjoy the experience of meeting other travelers, want to learn about Japan from their hosts, are looking for a getaway from the big cities, and don't mind walking about 20 minutes to and 20 minutes from (uphill) the closest train station. It's not for people who want a reclusive getaway, don't like walking long distances, are looking for a normal hotel experience, or can't navigate steep stairsteps. This guesthouse allows you to live around the locals in a quiet, non-touristy neighborhood. Our twin room was very spacious compared to our budget hotel room in Tokyo, had a traditional feel to it, and was quite comfortable on hot days with the wall-mounted AC. Going to the bathroom or toilet room does involve walking a few steps out onto the balcony attached to your room, but with the house being high in the hills, it still feels reasonably private. This guest room is next to the one other guest room at this property, so you do need to be aware of noise levels. Below the guest rooms is a vacant art gallery space that serves as a large common area that's currently available to guests but may not always be if it's being used as a gallery. Attached to the gallery is a large patio with a view of Kyoto — a great place to sit in the morning or while eating dinner. If you're looking for a wonderful stay in Kyoto that's a little out of the ordinary, and you're an active traveler that wants to experience the non-touristy side of the city, this may be your place.
