They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

It's a nice place to meet other travelers and the location is great as well. The lobby also serves as a bar on the weekends, which attracts many locals who want to practice their English. It's a great and rare opportunity to get to know local people, so it comes highly recommended!

Opened in April 2015. Located in Endoji Shopping Street, one of the oldest shopping streets in Nagoya, this is a slightly unusual inn that has been renovated from a coffee shop with a history of nearly 100 years and an electric shop. The room was beautifully minimalistic! Just enough space to crawl around and store belongings while a sleep. Shared facilities were clean and offered enough space. Kitchen was a nice advantage. Location in the center close to many good restaurants and climbing gym.

All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Really great experience staying here! No shoes are allowed inside, and the hostel is very clean. The mixed dorm room beds have lots of extra room beside the mattress which was much appreciated and very convenient. It feels like an old house inside, with beautiful hardwood floors. Fantastic common area with comfy seating and a well equipped kitchen. I met a few people here, and I was only here for 3 nights in August, so I think this is perfect for solo travellers in Nagoya. The bar below the hostel (ran by the owner of the who is very kind and speaks English) opens after 8pm, seems like a local hangout. I highly recommend yoruyonaka guesthouse to anyone staying in Nagoya. This has been my favourite hostel to stay in Japan!
