Kumba Hostel in Chania Town provides accommodation with a garden and a bar. I thought the whole experience of staying there was perfect. The beds were very private so you didn’t feel like you were in a dorm. You had your own private cube of a room with a pull down blind

So Young Hostel is situated in Heraklio Town, a 4-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 400 metres from Venetian Walls. They were even able to wash and dry my laundry at a reasonable cost.

The pictures don't do it justice. I thought it was going to have just the bunk beds, but it even has a kitchen and a couch to hang out at. Also the bathroom is private, which is not visible in the pictures or listed in the property amenities. It's quite spacious and in a decent location (20-30 minutes walk from the center), with easy parking. Amazing for its price
