This was the best hostel. It's really beautiful. The place is magical. The hostel is well equiped you can get a towl for free even (not in other hostels). The manager is kind and easy going. You have nice beach straight under the hostel. It's cozy so there is nice environment to meet with the other visitors.

Comfortable Accommodation: Great Glen Hostel in Spean Bridge offers family rooms with private bathrooms, carpeted floors, and garden, lake, and mountain views. Each room includes a shower. Staff were incredible, communicative! Cozy place, beautiful nature, gorgeous experience!

Hartfield House Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Applecross. Free private parking is available on site. Prompt and clear communication from beginning to end. In fact, the most detailed set of information I've received from any of the properties I've stayed in while driving around the NC500. Lara put my mind at ease by informing about late check-in procedures, so I didn't have to rush on the road. Normally, I prefer not to share bathrooms and kitchens, but given the high demand for properties around the area at this time of the year, I was left with no other option. This wasn't a problem at all. Everything is super organized and pristine, from the communal kitchen, laundry room, toilets and showers. I opted for a single room, which was clean, comfortable and adequate after a whole day on the road. Appelcross Village and Heartfield are surrounded by rugged, yet peaceful settings, and I wish I had dedicated more time to this area.

Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. Location was lovely with a great view, staff were kind and helpful, everything was super clean, the showers were great, rooms were spacious, nice view from the lounge area.

Probably one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in, in the UK. Clean, beautiful location, really big commercial kitchen, laundry, really nice common area

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Rail Station, Inverness Youth Hostel offers free private parking and bicycle storage. Eastgate shopping centre is a 10-minute walk from this hostel. I have never stayed in a youth hostel before. Facilities were excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean all the time - especially bathrooms.
