The hostel owner is amazing. He is very helpful. The hostel is a beautiful building located in the historic center of Nerja and at 7 minutes walk from the beach. Also, great location for hikes. Amazing rooftop terrace, free wifi, daily housekeeping. I met great people there.

Located in Estepona, Veranera Hostel features a shared lounge, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. This is easily the best hostel i’ve ever been to. The kitchen is so well equiped and easy to use. Therefore every guest does their best to keep to very clean. I also love the fact that they have shelves to leave your perishables for others to use so you don’t waste food. They have lots of cosy common areas and a beautiful roof terrace.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, certain units at Hostal El Gallo also have a terrace. The units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. It's situated on the most adorable picturesque typical little street, the rooms which are all upstairs have just been recently refurbished the photos don't do them justice, even although I booked a single I had a double bed which was extremely comfortable, excellent quality bedding and towels and the bathroom was in beautiful cream marble, it was way above my expectations, the owners are lovely and even let me keep my room on until 4pm at no extra cost as I had a late flight, nice touch. I will definitely return, be sure to find the tiny little courtyard on the street in front with a little church and a couple of little restaurants.

We stayed one night at Hostel La Fanega before our Caminito del Rey trip. The host, Martijn, was very kind and accommodating about our arrival and departure times. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had the shared, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom to ourselves, as we were the only guests. The location was perfect for our needs—close to Caminito del Rey. An extra bonus was the sweet family dog, who came by in the morning to say goodbye!
