lbergue Inturjoven Jaen is located 100 metres from La Magdalena Church in Jaén in Andalucía. It offers air-conditioned rooms, a 24-hour reception and games area. We were pleasantly surprised by this youth hostel accommodation. It is similar in standard to an IBIS budget. We stayed in an en-suite room for two but it could have accommodated four, which was basic but the room was large and comfortable. A self service continental breakfast was served in the first floor cafeteria. Snacks and some leisure facilities were available on the ground floor. The price included bedding. It should be noted that there is a small extra charge if you do not have a Youth Hostel card. Parking in the city centre is very challenging with very narrow streets. There is paid parking near this hotel at a theatre and some street parking in the nearby street. The city centre is easy on foot from here. The castle grounds are worth a visit but you will need your own transport as it is a very steep climb.
