In my case he even went out of his way (since I had two large suitecases, a backpack, and a couple shopping bags from in between moves locally) to store my stuff and bump me up to an open double bed with two lockers. The two lockers also helped me store my quiet juicer so I could juice quietly in the kithen while others were asleep in the next room. Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dos Brazos, like hiking. We stayed for over a week and saw an incredible amount of wildlife. Every day we saw something different and amazing whether it was monkeys, a sloth, invertebrates, birds (including toucans, swallow tailed kites, hummingbirds, trogons, woodpeckers, parrots, puffbirds, cuckoos), snakes, frogs. Ron, Val and the team do a really great job of maintaining the hostel and the trails. For such a remote location right in the middle of the rainforest the hostel is extremely well equipped including the kitchen, it looks picturesque, and is comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be truly immersed in nature and see a lot of wildlife.

Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. My stay was absolutely amazing! The place is super clean and has everything you need for an epic vacation! You're just two blocks from the ocean and one block from the main street, perfect location. But what really makes this place special are the hosts, Lenin and Chelsea- they'll make you feel like part of the family! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!!

Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. The owner Jonathan was really helpful all the time. The dorm we stayed in seemed new and was really comfortable. The place is so clean all the time and all the facilities in the common kitchen and the bathrooms worked really well. There's a social vibe, too, so it's easy to meet other travelers.
