Provided excellent advice on our self guided Cócora hike (start at the blue gate. Better on the knees) and coffee tour. Take a picture of the hike map on their wall. It is better than the one at the site. We helped several lost people along the way who were thankful when we shared ‘the map’ with them. Breakfast was excellent and fast. Comfortable beds and hot shower.

The hostel is designed like a spacious hotel complex. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the countryside but is easily and cheaply accessible with regular jeeps. In the morning you can hear lots of birds, cozy and well furnished.

The staff were not only very nice, but also very professional. The views are breathtaking and the activities they offer are much better than what you would get in the area, as they are more authentic and less touristy. The place is very clean and the food quite tasty. When I was there they had three options for breakfast, so definitely more varied than in other places in the area.

He is one of those rare people who are not just doing a job, but following a calling. He creates a uniquely cozy atmosphere full of care. You feel like a valued guest.

It's just like been in your granny's house. The warm of the host and all the little details were a fantastic plus to our stay. Beautiful garden and very clean rooms. Even that the bathroom its outside the room, it is private just for yourself. The breakfast worth the money, and for me this is the best cost/benefit place to stay. They offer you even free coffee and ice cream. Comfy beds, hot water in the shower and lots of beautiful birds to see while you take the breakfast. The location es perfect if you have your own transport to visit the coffee region

Set in Salento, 26 km from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Hostal Familiar Jerico features free WiFi access. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Marta was so nice and helpful, she provided us with a lot of useful and honest info about the town. The location was perfect and rather quiet. She woke us up everyday with a tiny breakfast, that was also cute. We borrowed an umbrella from her and lost it :( and thankfully, she was not mad about it. We were really sorry about that.
