After 2.5 months of traveling in South America, this is the best place we've been! Very comfortable room, everything is very clean, everything is thought about from the smallest things like electricity plugs to the things in the kitchen. A very calm and cozy place, it's not the center but very close to a bus station (3 min walking) and the metro station (7 min walking). The host is an amazing person, very kind and helpful, the things he has done for us you expect only from close friends!! If we are coming back to Santiago, it will definitely be this place!!

The property is really clean, staff is lovely. I needed to leave early in the morning so they prepare my breakfast the night before and put in the fridge so I can enjoy it the next morning.

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, Hostal Boutique Casa La Barca is located in Santiago, 3.9 km from Costanera Center. Location was perfect for walking to attractions and restaurants, wonderful breakfast, very helpful and accommodating manager, comfortable room and bed.

Hostal Sol y Luna - a 10 min del aeropuerto & Desayuno Incluido. The most welcoming corner of Santiago. We really enjoyed staying here, the location in proximity to the airport was great for early departures. The host was very communicative and helpful, we also enjoyed meeting other guests that were staying here and talking in the wonderful backyard area.

I needed a convenient, last-minute place to stay for the night close to the airport following a flight cancellation. This accommodation fit the bill. Clean, comfortable and friendly, the owner responded quickly to my last minute booking and was waiting for me on arrival, which I was grateful for as it was late and dark. I even received an upgrade without asking as the owner could see I'd had a big day. I was also offered an airport transfer for my return the airport the following day at a competitive and reasonable price. Thanks again for your kindness.

We talked a lot and enjoyed hanging out together in the living room in front of the fire. He helped us navigate around El Cajón de Maipo and in general just had a very relaxed vibe to him.

Honestly. still my favorite hostel in Santiago, by far! Ivan is a superstar. He genuinely loves his work and that shows in his interactions with the people in the hostel (even when some of them are more demanding). His energy creates an incredible family-like atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to interact with other solo travelers, eat together, chill together and more. This was my 3rd time in the hostel and everything is as I remember - clean spaces, rooms, spacious dorms, huge private room, nice pool and outside area, great kitchen, always available toilets/bathrooms. Bonus: The neighbourhood is probably the most interesting, while still being super safe ones in Santiago. It's got good coffee, food, vibes and more all within a few blocks. I plan to be back everytime I spend a few days in Santiago.
