The view from the Hotel is beautiful. The smoking place or terrace was beautiful. Inside the drawing room was so much of your own home. I specifically like it gathering with all other people whom you never know. The kitchen was clean and maintained in fact the whole hostel was like a clean and maintained house plus beautifully designed. The lady at that house she was so polite and humble Who takes care of the whole property. The room and washroom was clean.

Even though the Hostel is not situated strictly in the Zürich center, I would (due to aforementioned reasons) recommend everyone who is yet to visit Zürich to stay at this Hostel without any doubt.

The Oldtown Hostel Otter and its old-established Wüste Bar is a stylish place for the young-at-heart in Zürich's Old Town, about 300 metres from the Zürich-Stadelhofen train station and the lake. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen was cosy and a good chance to meet other travellers. Breakfast was simple but tasty and sufficient.
