I was really impressed that staff at check in were willing to go above and beyond to make my stay possible. Plus, it was a comfortable bed.

That was also not the only surprise. Although we booked a double room for one night, we unexpectedly got an upgrade to a very spacious studio. It was very kind of the owner to offer it to us. Even though the hostel is located above the pub and there was a concert on the street, the windows are pretty good and we spent a very good night. The studio was also clean and well-equipped. The hostel is located very close to a train station and almost in the middle of the old part of Schaffhausen.

Overall, a great experience—would definitely recommend!
