There's a nearby sandwich cafe called Breadfast which is popular with the locals and they do great baguette sandwiches kind of like Subway style. Supermarkets are nearby too. The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, spacious rooms. It's quiet at night so I had a well-rested sleep here.

HI Brussels Generation Europe Hostel is located in Brussels within a 20-minute walk from the central Grand Place and Manneken Pis. Guests can benefit from free Wi-Fi access, a buffet restaurant and a bar, a garden terrace and free evening entertainment. I liked that the doors were locked to the outside of the building. I loved how we were able to request to stay with my friends and that it felt very safe.
