Best hostel in Santa Theresa! Great vibe, and nice people. The hostel is across the road from the beach, close to supermarkets, restaurants and shops, and it’s always clean. Brandon, Augustine and Marco are all super friendly and helpful, and make you feel really welcomed at the hostel. We hope to be back :)

The best hostel I have stayed in. Ever. Apart from the perfect location with regards to the beach and supermarket, the atmosphere of the hostel was magical. I formed some long-lasting connections with people all over the globe - it definitely encouraged a strong sense of creating a travelling family! The design of the kitchen and other communal areas made me want to always be lounging around in the space - very spacious and comforting. Beautiful plants everywhere which made the hostel feel peaceful and secluded. The volunteers and owners were another lovely addition I wasn't expecting - genuinely good people (with good taste in music too). I could've spent several months just in this hostel and this area - I never got bored of the vibe.

Pretty much everything about Zeneidas is amazing. Ranging from the location of the hostel (100m from the beach and center) to the hospitality of the staff, I would recommend anyone to come. As a matter of fact, I would like to deeply give thanks to whole staff, from reception, gardening and the cleaning ladies who on a daily basis assured that we were comfortable and in good hygienic conditions. Friendly cats, dogs (monkeys and iguanas) and more will be around here. Muchas gracias a todos.

With Cabinas Yilmer I had the best experiences of my trip to Costa Rica. If you really want to get into the soul of this land, made of nature, jungles and beaches, with reliable local people, don't miss the experience with Cabinas Yilmer ! Coco, Beatriz and Orlando are the best: I stayed three days with them, they really welcomed me as one of the family, helped me when I had various difficulties, without hesitation. Don't be impressed by the distances to the beaches, the staff will rent you bicycles and other means to make fabulous independent excursions ! For guided sea excursions, rely on Coco, he is not like other tourist catchers who only think about money, he is a person who does his job with serenity and above all who knows deeply the fabulous places where he will take you, sharing with you what he knows. I left a piece of my heart in their hostel, if I go back to Costa Rica, it will be a fixed stop ! Pura Vida !

Helpful staff (they helped us book a shuttle to Playa Del Coco), clean facilities, beautiful patio/outdoor areas to hang out, quiet, great location, coffee available in the morning, lots of lines to hang wet towels, clothes and swim suits. Overall a nice spot for the budget traveler.

The hostel is a real old style hostel, don’t expect to come to a 4 star hotel for the price you’re paying. We had a basic simple private room with a shared bathroom, from the room you can hear everything but again it’s a hostel, that’s okay. The structure it’s very tico style. The community inside was really friendly and nice. If you’re looking for a place on a budget in Montezuma and at 1 minute from the center, this is the place to come!

Super chill vibe, great location, lovely staff. Kitchen looked great but I didn't use it. Saw monkeys playing in the trees above the hostel which was super special!

The hosts Gustavo and Regis made me feel very welcome and at ease immediately. The hostel is perfectly located in Rio, whether you like museums, party, beaches, food, walks... The hostel organizes lot of activities like a fun karaoke, so you can mingle easily and meet new people. There are many cool - day or less - trips possible to do, like hikes to magnificent view points. Also the hostel itself is just beautiful, with greenery, cosy terrace, grandeur from the past and still very ready for the 21st century! 10/10 or more!
