Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I could relax while looking at the widespread greenery outside the window. Load shedding in South Africa is one of the anxieties of most foreign travelers, but in that situation, I could enjoy the beautiful starry sky from the large balcony instead. The hotel was located in a safe area in Stellenbosch. The owner was super friendly and gave me helpful travel bits of advice. Everything perfect!

Onsite parking. Perfect access to the highway and restaurants and supermarkets are close by. The main areas in the BnB are spacious and well furnished, rooms are a good size and have all amenities. The bedroom is spacious, very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom is comfortable with a spacious shower. Nice view of Table mountain from the common area patio and a lovely pool onsite. The host Imke is friendly and very obliging. My colleague had to cancel at the last minute due to medical reason and this was accepted with no fuss. Excellent communication pre check in, Imke responded to all my queries. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Small luxurious hotel in great neighbourhood. Th owner Leonard and his wife are very welcome and nice people. Everything in the hotel is very new and stylish, the yard and the pool are so good to relax in the evening. There are several top restaurants in 5 min by foot. The breakfast is outstanding an served in such a beautiful livingroom. Feels like you are staying in friend`s house. Paarl may be not so fancy as Stellenbosch but for such a good price and confort i`d prefer to drive 20 mins. Hope to come back sometime.

What a lovely place to stay overnight, pity everything was already planned for the travel otherwise we would have stayed another day to enjoy the lovely views from the house as well as the restaurants in the neighborhoods.
