We wanted something special for Christmas, and what we received from the family was more than we anticipated. Everything was perfect — the rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house and surroundings were really nice. But the family is what made the difference. They made our stay the best we had in Vietnam. Initially, we booked for four nights, but we extended twice because we truly felt amazing there. One of the staff members speaks good English, so we were able to have short conversations with the family. We couldn't recommend this property more — my parents and kids felt wonderful there, and we would have stayed longer if more rooms had been available.

Breakfast: good options for the breakfast. Homemade by Yennie’s family. Location: it is in a small town where there are really no tourists. Good for having local experience. Rooms: Really good designed and furbished. We really liked the small touches in detailes. They are extremely clean! We really felt like it is a real homestay. Thanks to Yennie and her family again for warmly welcoming us (even in the middle of the night) Tours: they offer private and group tours. We did the canoe tour which was 3-4 hours with pottery factory visit. I believe tour was good but shouldn’t be called as canoe tour since canoe took 20 min only. It was great to talk to Henry.

Oanh and her family are some of the most warm, friendly, hard working people I've ever met, and they treat you with such kindness and hospitality. The family operates a couple different homestays on An Binh, so if she doesn't have room you can ask if her brother or sister does. The house is a beautiful traditional house, and sitting in the hammocks on the porch you can have a chat with her or the other guests, or just relax and listen to birds singing in the yard. I did the boat tour with Oanh's brother and it was a great experience, I've never had fruit as sweet as the longan and rambutan we picked from the trees during the tour. There's bicycles you can borrow to go around the island, and I was also able to rent Oanh's sister's scooter to drive to Sa Dec for a day. Also, Oanh is an amazing cook and her food is the best I've had in Vietnam so far! I told her she should start offering cooking classes too, maybe you can ask her to show how she makes some of the food :) Thank you Oanh and your family, hope to see you again!

Ngoc Phuong Homestay is located in Vinh Long. It offers complimentary bicycle rentals, parking and WiFi access. A set menu breakfast is served daily. The rooms and facilities were very clean and neat. The hosting family was more than sweet. We could use the bikes from the property, they helped us with scooters and we could ask anytime if needed anything. Food was great! The island and the property is really quiet and relaxing.

Situated by the Mekong River, Happy Family Guesthouse features basic and comfy cottages with free Wi-Fi access. Surrounded by tropical greenery, it provides a garden and swimming pool with sun deck. Gorgeous grounds! Very beautiful and peaceful! It was everything I’d hoped for!
