Tons of cafes and scrumptious street food within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. The outside is decorated with beautiful lights and plants. Very Instagramy :) Initially, I had some concerns traveling around Dak Nong with very limited Vietnamese. However, the homestay onwer was very accommodating which quickly erased my worries. He helped me communicate with my bus driver and even dropped me off at the pickup location. He speaks great English and gave me helpful suggestions. He even told me that he started his homestay business to increase tourism to this underated and beautiful province and improve his English. Staying here was one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. Additionally, the homestay rents manual motorbike for 100k per day. I really enjoyed the ride to Ta Dung National Park. I can't wait to return to Gia Nghia and stay at Ly's Homestay again.

The place is in a residential area so it’s quiet. Be prepared to expect a very basic and simple place. This is really an extension of their own home and the host is having another full time job. We visited during the Lunar New Year when it was not easy to find dinners outside and the host was kind enough to invite us to join her family’s dinner at a modest charge.
