This recently renovated homestay is located 6.1 km from Police Station and 14 km from Lanta Old Town. The homestay features family rooms. Such a fantastic guest house, run by the most accommodating, kind and attentive family. They went above and beyond to help us in every way during our stay at Baiyok house. The room we had was a great size, very clean and a generous double bed with wonderful views over a forest hill. Shower has great pressure and gets nice and hot. Turn downs, fresh towels and room refresh are done to keep it nice during your stay. We were unexpectedly provided a freshly cooked Thai breakfast on two of our mornings, which was absolutely yummy! One morning we couldn't have this as we went diving, but fresh food was generously prepared for us on our return which we didn't expect, but were really grateful for... If you're a diver you'll know what kind of hunger we had after 3 dives... So kind! On other mornings fresh fruit and some biscuits were available. There are various coffee sachets and biscuits available in the kitchen for any time of the day you fancy a snack and they kindly do all the washing up and keep the area really tidy. There's another communal area you can enjoy eating breakfast in to save any smell or crumbs in your room, our just to hang out in if you need a little change of scenery. It's a modern guest house with old school values which we found to be absolutely charming and generous. The location is great, just a walk across the main road and down to the centre of phra ae beach in five minutes. Plenty of nice eateries on the road, would suggest The Glass House & The Backyard. Really well stocked local supermarket a few doors down as well, for anything you need. Seven eleven also available but a bit further away. Also a place to do your washing just down the road, 3 min walk away, ours all came back smelling really fresh and no colour runs or missing items.

Post Office Ko Lanta is less than 1 km away and Police Station is 16 km from the guest house. Amazing place. Exactly what we wanted. Watching the tides, fishing boats, listening to the sea from a quiet place. Total relaxation while painting. Evening walks in the town.

It is different from a normal hotel. It is placed on the water and in an exotic enviroment, but close to everything. The lady owner was very nice and they helped us with the transport when the taxi driver didn't come.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Everything, customer service was fantastic. Breakfast and the views were amazing, and the bath on the deck! Wow. Comfy beds, grocery stores close and some restaurants. I could stay here for a long time and never get bored of that view. Thank you so much for the amazing stay :)

The absolute BEST place to stay in the island. Ake is a good hearted host, always willing to help with a smile. The place is beautiful, clean and spacious. Very quiet and calm but close enough to restaurants and beaches. Located on a hill with a view. I highly recommend and definitely will come back next time in Koh Lanta.

I stayed at The Sun Long Beach Resort for 6 nights and had such a lovely experience. The location is perfect—just a short 5-minute walk to Long Beach and close to the main road where you’ll find restaurants, an ATM, and a grocery store. Super convenient without being noisy. The room was spotless, spacious, and really comfortable. They leave fresh water every day, which was a thoughtful touch, and you can also rent a scooter directly from the resort, which made it really easy to explore the island. It’s true that there’s a mosque nearby and you can hear the call to prayer, especially early in the morning—but I used earplugs and slept right through it every night without a problem. The real highlight was the staff—they were incredibly kind and helpful. My flight was seriously delayed and I arrived really late, after restaurants had already closed. They proactively messaged me to ask if I’d like them to prepare something in advance—and when I arrived, there was a delicious pad Thai and fresh watermelon waiting for me, which they didn’t even charge for. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and made me feel so welcome. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, well-located stay with genuinely kind people running it!

The bed was so comfy, great price, 7 11 and ATM close.by,plus lots of restaurants. The owner was lovely and spoke great English, and to hire a bike was only 150.

The property was built in 2019 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The guest house features an infinity pool with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and a shared kitchen. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and other options. The location, despite not being on the beachfront, is exceptional. The staff is very helpful, professional and very friendly.
