Lovely B&B with a very friendly host! I arrived in Östersund late at night, and something had gone wrong with the booking at another place. I could book here on short notice without a problem, and for only a small amount extra the host even cooked me the most amazing dinner! The room is decorated very nicely, and everything is there. Breakfast was great as well, definetely one of my favorite B&Bs so far!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was nice, the beds were comfortable, and we had all the facilities we needed. Stephanie really went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Since we were here during one of the coldest weeks in decades (-31°C!), she placed a whole bunch of electric heaters throughout our rooms and made sure the wood stove was on to make it pleasantly warm and cozy. Since we were a little worried our car wouldn't start on our day of departure, she even made sure our car was able to stay warm enough during the night. We were really happy to have spent time here, and can wholeheartedly recommended it!

Situated 250 metres from Östersund Central Station, Pensionat Björnen offers free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Prästgatan pedestrian street is 350 metres away. Perfect for overnight stay when traveling with train. Simple but cheap with all nessecities.
