The house has a big terrace on the upper floor and the whole city with its surrounding mountains is in front of you. Right under the place there is an archeological site- an aqueduct, check it out! Downstairs is an open space living room where a doggie usually lies on a couch ready for pets. The chef makes you good breakfast every morning plus there is always a selection of hot drinks available for you. The staff is super nice- any request we had, e.i. to bring a heater to the room or to have a hot water bottle brought earlier or to borrow a luggage scale- was immediately met. We had an Inca Trail planned in the middle of our stay ,so we left our suitcases in the hotel for 4 days and they were perfectly safe there the whole time. We read ahead that it is located on a hill so we knew that there is a walk up the hill from the centre, no problem for us, in fact, it served us to get acclimatised to the hight altitude.
