Location was brilliant, amazing views of the Auckland harbour/skyline, but away from the noise/traffic of the city. We travelled between Auckland city and north shore, so Andy’s house was perfect in the middle. The house was lovely and comfortable, there was a seperate lounge shared between us and one other room, which was nice to have a bit of privacy. Massive outside deck with table/benches to work in the day/relax in the evening. Breakfast was provided, along with all the tea and coffee you could want. Finally, the host family were amazing. Andy, his young son Alan (the little property manager), plus the whole family, were just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to offer suggestions/help, or leave you alone, as you prefer. All in I would definitely stay again.

Our host was very welcoming, even at 2.30am! We felt very at home straight away, and it was the perfect place to relax and recover after a very long flight. Nyima Tashi is very comfortable and clean, with excellent shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very happy we stayed here, will come again and recommend to anyone visiting Auckland.

Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. The hosts, Bruce and Jules, were very welcoming and friendly. They were always available to help and answered any questions we had. Great service. Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Very good view and good location. Just a few minute drive to most places we wanted to visit. The complimentary bottle of bubbles definitely enhanced our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing stay at Waiheke.

Featuring free WiFi, a barbecue and a terrace, Romantic Piha offers accommodation in Piha, 29 km from Auckland. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms have a TV and DVD player. Amazing view! Loved having the patio/balcony. It’s far enough apart from the other property on site and also has a divider to feel private. Very clean, comfy, felt homelike. Communication with the host was great and very helpful. Check in and out was very easy. The driveway is no joke but passing other houses in Piha, that seemed to be quite common for the area.
