Very friendly staff and good service. They even kept my luggage for me, while I was on a trek. Highly recommend the yoga class by Heman (HEMANYOGA). One of the best Yoga classes I ever joined!

We were really lucky that the owner gave us one of his best rooms on the top floor — with a breathtaking 270° view. The room itself is spacious, simply furnished, and has a balcony. Honestly, the view says it all: on clear days you can see the Annapurna (from the terrace), and when it’s cloudy, you still get a sweeping look over the city, valley, lake, and even people paragliding. Absolutely stunning! Breakfast was simple but delicious, with portions that were more than generous. One evening, they even asked if we’d like dinner and served a home-cooked dal bhat that was really good. You can choose to eat in the dining area downstairs or upstairs, where the views keep you company. Note: Meals come with reasonable charge. ⭐ 200% for the view and hospitality!

The staff is just amazing, trying their best to reply to any of your queries. The location is fantastic. The room is very confy with a good mattress, hot shower, and fan. The breakfast provided in the morning is just delicious ! One of the best I have ever had ! Definetly the place to stay during your trip in Bhaktapur !

Nirvana Kuti terletak di Kathmandu, 2.5km dari Swayambhu dan 3.5km dari Kuil Swayambhunath. Our window view was of a temple, and you are literally two blocks from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

From the didi who made our rooms, to aunty who took us around the village on our first day, to Vicky who is always there to help you with any kind of bookings, we are grateful for their warmth and hospitality! :)

This is a house of a local family, so it’s a best way to stay here and get the most of local life. I spent a whole week here for the Nepali new year and had several Newari dinner meals with the host’s family (include a new year feast). I learned to properly eat with my hand. And I appreciate they changed the food every day a bit when I said I like to try more kinds of local food. The rooptop is the best place to have a full view of the Dubar Square and valley, I really enjoyed to stay up there every morning and night, so peaceful and chill. During the festival, the host provided all the infos about when and where to see the celebrations and even show me around, tell stories about Bhaktapur and the festival. It’s the place I would like to come back one day.
