His daughters can make genuine local food, recommend to try the fern and fried rice/noodles. We have stayed at AA homestay for 4 nights, it’s kinda like a home in the rainforest. Room is spotlessly clean and offer free hot water to make coffee. And they will offer food in meal time. The location is a bonus, only 5 mins walk to the entrance of park. Besides, the bottle water and food price are lower than the grocery store in Mulu park.

He explained to us all the things you can do and what to bring for a perfect experience. With Brenda we had a wonderful tour of the large caves and she gives us all the information about the animals we saw along the way. In the evening they showed us a documentary on a big screen about the history of Mulu and the struggle between the locals and the palm oil industry. It was very interesting!
