The Opposite Place terletak di Melaka, 3.3km dari Kubu St John’s dan 4.4km dari Melaka Straits Mosque. This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

The location is perfect - nice quiet street that is a few minutes walk to many restaurants and a short distance to Jonker Street for shops, the night market and bridge to see the sites. It was wonderful to have use of a kitchen and washer given our longer stay. Steven is very warm and friendly and made many good recommendations for food that we tried. We will stay here again the next time we are in Melaka 😊

Very clean, friendly owner, no one is disturb even it’s an apartment / shop lot (homestay) room. The homestay rooms looks like hotel. Feel very comfortable. Shop facilities also very nearest. Sure will comeback again if we managed to come to the same place for any purpose. Me and my husband two person only staying there, if anyones wanna stay there with family, I can recommend this homestay, reasonable price too. Got 15kg new model washing machine too. Nice place for family gatherings too. I can give 5stars for all the service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights and it is run by Maria and her husband. Maria is super kind , nice and friendly and helped us in every way she could. She gave us many good advice like where to exchange money with best rate. The room is spotlessly clean, even for the public area, kitchen, washroom, etc, are all tidy. The main advantage of the homestay is it’s close to the red square(3 min walk). You even can come back to take a nap and have a shower in hot afternoon.

Favourite Homestay Melaka - 8Pax,4BR,4Bath, tempat penginapan dengan kemudahan barbeku, terletak di Melaka, 4.9km dari Bangunan Stadthuys, 5.2km dari Muzium Warisan Baba & Nyonya, dan juga 5.4km dari... Ms Tueh was very fast on our request. Respond fast. All rooms were cleaned and well managed, with even the Qiblat direction was shown at the ceiling, direction for us to pray, tq so much. 4 cars (normal car) can easily park inside. Location wise, easy to find the address, it is near halal restaurant and Mydin too. Will sure to come again :)
