The rooms are big and very clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, 10 minutes walk to the center yet quiet during night time. Great view from the terasse of the surrounding mountains. The area is safe. We enjoyed the free snacks and refreshments. I would recommend it and will go back!!

Also right next to bus station and taxis and a short walk to the main square which had a load of great street food stalls and little markets dotted along it.

Super nice, clean and cosy facility, very friendly and caring owner. Great access to the airport, only a 7 min taxi ride away. I stayed for 1 night in the shared dorm which is divided in two separate rooms with 2 beds each and private bathroom. In front of these rooms is a well equipped kitchen with a big table to sit at. Very cozy and homelike feeling.

First, our host, David, his family, and their 18-year-old dog were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They generously shared information about Oaxaca and the traditions of Día de los Muertos, making our stay both educational and enjoyable. They also showed great care for our safety, especially at night, and even provided transportation services late in the evening. My friend and I truly felt at home and appreciated in their care. The room was clean and comfortable, with an additional living space and kitchen that made our stay even more convenient. Do note that you'll need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The common space on the third floor is absolutely AMAZING. While the location is a bit farther from downtown Oaxaca, the stunning mountain views from the beautiful garden make it well worth the stay.

I absolutely love staying at Villa Bonobo! It was my 5th year in a row. The dorm is great ( just 4 beds), the pool is beautiful, the breakfast in the morning is the best of any hostel I’ve been to AND the staff is sooo friendly and welcoming ♥️

Since there isn’t a sign in front of the hostel, it’s best to mark it on the map before arriving. The room was equipped with a desk, two chairs, and drawers, which made it easy to store our belongings. There is also a kitchen available, so we were able to cook simple meals, which was very convenient. The shower water pressure was a bit weak, but we appreciated that there was always hot water.

Super friendly and helpful staff, very cozy and clean place, well equipped kitchen, hostel located in a quiet area near the bus and colectivo stations. All the beaches are in a few min walking distance.
