It takes 3 minutes to walk to the main road. Restaurants and atm walking distance. Sigiriya rock again walking distance. Host was amazing, helpful and kind. I would definitely go back. We loved it there.

Brand new swimming pool, brand new rooms, youth center. The owner is a very kind person who helped us to travel all over Sri Lanka. On the day we stayed, Ratriya was taken to see the elephants in his own jeep. A scooter was prepared and given to walk around Sigiriya the next day. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Jungle Eco Lodge, run by Kumari and her wonderful family, was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and right at home. The entire family was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The service was outstanding – from the pick-up and drop-off service to their excellent recommendations for activities in the area. Thanks to their tips, we enjoyed a bullock cart ride, a traditional cooking class, a boat trip, stunning wood carvings, and even discovered great clothing stores. Even on rainy days, Kumari and her family had creative ideas to ensure we made the most of our time. The food was an absolute highlight. Both the breakfast, tailored to our preferences, and the dinner were plentiful, incredibly delicious, and prepared with so much love. A special memory was created by the family’s children (6 and 10 years old), who guided us around the village, explained various plants, and took us to a local temple. They lovingly played with our 1-year-old son, giving us parents a small but precious moment to relax. Kumari’s father surprised us with a free tour of Sigiriya, showing us the nearby lake and a stunning viewpoint of Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. This level of hospitality went far beyond our expectations and truly touched our hearts. The room was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with air conditioning, making our stay very comfortable. We are deeply grateful to Kumari and her family for these unforgettable days. We felt incredibly at home and would highly recommend the Jungle Eco Lodge to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and comfortable stay near Sigiriya and Dambulla. Thank you so much for everything – we hope to return someday!

The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Super nice host, very big, comfortable and very clean room. Perfect location and amazing breakfasts. We couldn't demand more. So, I highly recommend this place!

It was very clean, even when you enter the room it smells clean. The hosting family was very friendly and helpful with any advices. The food was homemade and delicious, fruits and juices were made of fresh fruits from the garden. Fantastic value for money.

Wonderful location and hosts. These are hard working people that are doing their best to make people feel welcome and comfortable. Both of which I did.

The location is really nice as it is a bit away from the main toad (5min walk). The hosts are the nicest guys, which were ready to arrange everything we have asked for. They have arranged a safari in Kaudulla and then dropoff at the next hotel we were staying. They prepared us the most delicious curry and rice for dinner. Breakfast was also amazing, Srilankan’s pancakes and roti, fresh fruit and fresh juice. I recommend this hotel to everyone and we were sad that couldn’t stay for more nights.

The owners of this accomodation are amazing, kind, helpful, and lovely people. We were greeted with a smile and fresh pot of coffee as soon as we arrived, the room was lovely, clean and the fan was enough to keep us cool through the night. Their food is home-grown, home-made and absolutely delicious! I absolutely recommend their place to anyone visiting Sigiriya!!
