The owners are so nice, they cooked me delicious food and took me on a tour of the whole Kandy!! They are so helpful and kind. The room was super clean and fresh, the Wi-Fi is super good and breakfast was 10/10!! I really recommend this place!

Clean, quiet and very friendly host. We came from a wedding and it was quite late in the evening, yet Chandra warmly welcomed us in. Would recommend The Golden Residence. Great value for money and the beds were very comfortable too!

Truly, this is one of the most enchanted places we had the privilege to stay in. It is unique because you are in the middle of the jungle, without walls. The place is very relaxing, yet you feel the jungle, in the good way. The stuff is most delicate and gentle. The facility is luxurious. We had a great time. All the payments for your stay are dedicated to the preservation of the forest. Wonderful.

It was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. In the middle of the jungle. We really loved to stay with family. It was the most authentic staying that we had in Sri Lanka. the kids (2 years and 5 years), are still talking about their home in srilanka in the middle of the jungle, they loved to spend time with grandmom ( she taught them one song, and we must singing every day ) and their tuk tuk driver, which was the best driver at alll srilanka. we recommend to all families to spent time in jungle homestay.

I am beyond happy to have had the chance to visit this place. I spent three amazing days at your hotel with such a beautiful view of the elephants. Waking up in the morning to see them, hear their deep sounds, and watch them roam freely in the field was an unforgettable experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife while enjoying the comfort of your hotel. The terrace is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything is so cozy, clean, and beautifully designed. The hotel smells amazing, and it has everything you need for a perfect stay. My deepest gratitude goes to Roshan and his family for their incredible hospitality and for helping with the excursions. I am truly thankful for these wonderful three days. I was so happy to meet everyone involved in running this hotel and to get to know the culture of Penawawa. I’m already recommending this place to my friends, and many of them are eager to visit and experience the same emotions. I will definitely be back and would love to spend more time in this magical place!

Terletak di Mawanella, Mystay mempunyai WiFi percuma, dan tetamu boleh menikmati taman, teres dan bar. I had an absoulutely beautiful experience staying at Mystay. Hosts were incredibly attentive to anything I needed, they were always available to provide great info about nearby spots and prices. While Mawanella in not a main tourist hotspot there are some gorgeous spots to explore if you like nature such as river with waterfalls, several hiking spots and trekking paths through the rainforest, it is an awesome location for nature lovers. Also, it's proximity to Kandy and Elefant sanctuary puts you in a great location to explore surrounding attractions. Hosts were always able to arrange local transport to wherever I needed to go and for amazing (local) price, can't thank them enough. Breakfast was wonderful, home made and super tasty. They also provided fruit and tea for my relaxing time, also plenty of bottled water all the time. Place is very spaceous and comfortable with garden around the house, there is also a lovely erected area, like a treehouse, for you to enjoy, that is surrounded with greenery, a great place to just relax and see some birds etc. All in all, a wonderful family that I'm happy to have met and I'm so thankful for all their help with information and transport. Hope I'll be able to stay there again sometines in the future.

It's got a modern vibe, tons of places to rest and relax, and it's really clean and nice. The owner is super friendly, and breakfast is served European-style.

Food was exceptionally good. Pool is clean and we enjoyed the mountain view. Walking trails were nice too. Should appreciate the staff who were friendly and helpful.
