The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

Dengan Pantai Tangalle yang boleh disampai dalam 2-minit berjalan kaki, MENAKA HOMESTAY menyediakan penginapan, restoran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres. I really felt at home here! The hosts went out of their way to care for me, welcoming me with a fresh smoothie and continuing to shower me with fresh fruit and snacks during my stay. Delicious food clearly made with love. The accommodations are clean and comfortable- AC room with fan, en-suite bathroom, mini fridge, etc. the highlight of my stay however was definitely the exceptional service and treatment from the hosts. Highly recommend booking here for a homey stay a stone’s throw from the beautiful Tangalle beach!

We’re young backpackers, and this is by far the best guest-house we’ve visited in our travels. A modern, well-kept villa with a nice garden. The room was very clean, the AC worked perfectly, the bed was big. We even had an extra room to install all our clothes and equipment, and the room’s terrace was spacious with a view on the garden. Waking up and being served breakfast on the balcony was an amazing vacation experience.

Su welcomed me with a big hug and that kidness was constant during my short stay. She brough me a passion fruit juice after my long trip and woke me up with a coffee for the safari. Her husband was waiting with me to help me catch the right bus. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable with a nice balcony.

The Lookout Lodge is simply amazing. It’s an oasis which has been developed with much love and care. The people running it are wonderful, the rooms are clean and stylish and the swimming pool is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the (empty) beach and a 10 min walk to the turtle rescue center. It only has four rooms so it’s quiet and private. You have a unique view of the lagoon with all kinds of animals, and peacocks that love to use the roof of the lodge!

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

We had everything we needed and they were there to answer all our questions, provide recommendations and make sure we feel comfortable. The room was sparkling clean and spotless! They took the best care of us and felt like a real and authentic local homestay! Highly highly recommend Sun Sea Guest home!

The owner of the guesthouse is very warm-hearted and trustworthy. On the first day of our stay, he took us on a free bird-watching tour, and we also saw bats and crocodiles. He was very professional! He helped with everything, making us feel completely at ease. Since we only had half a day for the safari and returned early, he took us for an owl and bird-watching trip at noon. The safari driver arranged by our private driver wasn't very good, and we saw nothing on two trips. In the end, because we really wanted to see a leopard, we returned from Mirissa and joined the safari the next day. The driver the owner arranged was highly professional and shared a lot of expert knowledge with us. The owner even joined us, which really made us feel safe and reassured. Highly recommended!
