The entire floor has a series of similar flats opening to terrace and landing with microwave, ironing board and laundry lines. Very convenient location near Maharagama centre near the Colombo-Batticaloa highway and at a few minutes from Kotte and Polwatta. The host is fully proficient in accommodating all nationalities and provides a plethora of amenities for either cooking, cleaning, or refreshments. He also was assisting to further my trip in the most budget friendly and efficient manner. All of it for an unbeatable value for money rate.

A nice, quiet place to stay in the Cinnamon Gardens away from the frenetic city center. The rooms are large and bright and the house is lovely. The host is very wonderful and helpful, a delight to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay there. We’d be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Sri Lanka. There is not much to eat around the guest house, it is a quiet residential neighborhood with sports fields and offices and such. It is quite pleasant to walk around. A 200-300 rupee tuk tuk ride will bring you to several places to eat, bank etc. We highly, highly recommend eating at Ran Bath Organic which was recommended to us by the host. The food there is perhaps the best we had in our entire trip. Also, a short walk up Maitland is the Glomark supermarket where you can find a wide range of items, as well as alcohol and a pharmacy. Upstairs is a small food court. The food doesn’t really stand out, but if you don’t want to go very far to get something to eat, that’s the place to go. Skip the laundry at the side, it’s very expensive and very slow.

It's located about 30min by bus from central Colombo but it's a quiet area. Lovely house and amazing family! But don't ask her about the buses 🤣🤣 kidding. Thank you so much for everything again. Definitely recommend it

From the design to the art collection on every corner, the historical significance of the place is invaluable. Now if you happen to be a fan of the architect, then there is no greater privilege than staying at his home.

Set in Colombo on a private peninsula by the banks of the historic Diyawanna Lake, Aathma Colombo House provides accommodation with a garden. The style is amazing, our suite was a dream, the food is incredible and most of staff was extremely professional and helpful!

Great place to stay at with really courteous and helpful staff. The rooms are quite spacious. The restaurant had great Italian food albeit it being a bit on the expensive side. Overall, it was a great experience staying here.

Without an iota of doubt, I would strongly recommend this property for both families & work related travel. This is unlike any property where the owners go beyond the normal hospitality (expected out of any hotel) and make you feel that you are staying in a place which you have known for eternity. The morning breakfast they prepare is delicious and healthy. Especially for folks like me with dietary restrictions, they make sure our needs are properly met. Their friendly approach is truly remarkable. I now know where to stay in Colombo whenever I come back.

Located in the suburbs of Colombo city, 55TG Boutique Suites offers an authentic home stay experience in a two story 1920's period house with a garden, outdoor pavilion, living room and a lounge. We were only here for one night and an early morning the next day however the staff were lovely and the rooms were fantastic. Super clean and easy to check in. Thank you for packing a breakfast super early the morning after. Would love to come back in the future.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Sayura House offers accommodation in Colombo, 3.5 km from Asiri Surgical Hospital. Free private parking is available on site. We were fortunate to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms with a separate shower room. The decor was stylish and contemporary. Good wifi, very comfortable bed, and very quiet even though our door opened on to the main courtyard where guests gathered to relax or eat. Our room and facilities were spotlessly clean, and the toiletries were high quality. Our concierge was extremely helpful, setting us up with the PickMe app so we could access cheap, reliable tuktuks, and recommending a great local restaurant where we could sample authentic Sri Lankan food. The whole property has a lovely ambience, relaxed and friendly. There are three breakfast options available, and there is also a rooftop restaurant (Poke 65) which serves poke salad bowls, Italian dishes and several other options. The waterfront is 100m away, and Colombo centre is about 350LKR by tuktuk (approx $2AUD). A lovely boutique hotel and great value for money.
