Madu, the host, is an extremely friendly lady who made me feel like home. Her care and service is beyond amazing. Make sure to try her Dahl as this was one of the best I had in 2 months traveling through SL. The room was clean and comfortable. If I come back to Colombo one day I would stay here again

Set in Colombo on a private peninsula by the banks of the historic Diyawanna Lake, Aathma Colombo House provides accommodation with a garden. Where to begin! As you arrive, from the outside you don't see what is awaiting you. As soon as you enter, it's as if you have stumbled across an oasis! You are welcomed by the very friendly staff, sat on a couch, provided a wet towel to wipe your face and a refreshing fruit juice. Check in is so smooth, we didn't have to do anything. We just enjoyed the juice while the formalities were taken care of. The room was amazing. We had the Simha room, which had the private jacuzzi. It was big and comfortable. Very highly recommended!
