The hosts and the staff are extremely helpful and will make everything to create a cozy atmosphere for you. Nelson is a great chef indeed.We had a delicious dinner prepared by him. The place is in 5 minutes distance from the beautiful Bentota beach. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Happy Man Village was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Sri Lanka. The dinner, breakfast, hospitality and environment were fantastic. The garden of the hotel is well-maintained and particularly beautiful at night. Furthermore, the rooms are really clean and the outside shower is a big plus! We truly recommend this hotel!

Location is fantastic. On the main road (yet not noisy at night) so easy to find. Close to Bentota railway station, beach, shops, restaurants, and the main town. The room and bathroom was so incredibly clean. What makes this place even more special is the couple that live there and own the place. Honestly, the most genuine and lovely people I’ve come across throughout my Sri Lankan adventure. Food can be provided up request for a small fee and is absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. I wish I had more time so I could stay here longer! You will not regret staying here! It’s genuinely home away from home!
