The owner is great.. Amazing service, top notch view. Although it's 10 min drive from city- up in the moutain, It's very easy to call tuktuks. Won't even take more than 5-8 min.

They helped me out with transportation, planning out what to do in Nuwara Eliya, and the food was amazing! The location is really central too. I was really happy here, I can’t recommend it enough.

We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

Rustique House dbl terletak di daerah Lake Gregory bagi Nuwara Eliya, 17-minit berjalan kaki dari Tasik Gregory dan 7.7km dari Hakgala Botanical Garden. Beautiful place! Amazing location, super clean, great facilities. Host was waiting for us in the rain at 10 PM, super easy to reach on WhatsApp, amazing breakfast in the morning. Upgraded our stay to a nicer room for no extra charge because it was empty! It was our best stay in Sri Lanka. Connected us with a Tuktuk driver (Chandi) for the morning who gave us a tour around which was perfect - went to two tea plantations, two waterfalls, and so many view points. He also called a friend at the train station to verify our train time and ordered take out for us to pick up and take on the train.

I can really recommend this place! I stayed in a super nice and extremely clean room with a balcony and beautiful view of the hills. Big bathroom with hot water shower. The staff was very helpful and helped me arrange a tuktuk to go to Adams Peak at night. I have nothing to complain about!

The host speak a very good english, and has been Very kind and helpful. He offered me a juice as soon as i get there and gave me great suggestions on what to do in the area. He also has a tuk tuk and is always willing to drive you around the area (he room me to adam’s Peek in the middle of the night) but is no pushy about it. The food I had was great and the apartment looks pretty new and very clean (european standard, i’d say), tidy and smells good. The area is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a trip (tea plantations all around, lake views, nice locals) and is very easy to reach by bus from Hatton.

The host Rajith is very friendly and very helpful with everything (tips, excursion, train ticket, etc). Breakfast and dinner were very delicious. The apartment was very nice and clean. The location is near to the city (5 min with tuk tuk) and quiet. We would come back.
