My stay at Corner Cottage will remain a positive memory of my time in Sri Lanka. Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU mempunyai penginapan berhawa-dingin di Nochchiyagama. Terdapat teres dan tetamu boleh menggunakan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Menawarkan basikal percuma, taman dan WiFi percuma, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort terletak di Habawewa, 39km dari Kumbichchan Kulama Tank dan 39km dari Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Great location. Nicely tucked away from the road amongst the forest. Lots of birds including jungle fowl to watch from the patio. Walk in from the road via a pathway. They met us to help carry our bags. Dinner was traditional Sri Lankan curry - vegetarian or chicken. Followed by yoghurt and fruit for dessert. Plenty of food, not spicy and was yummy. Other options for dinner were fried rice or vegetable noodles. Breakfast was packed for us for the following day safari. 2 egg sandwiches, a banana, yoghurt and water. Sufficient for the half day. The best part is the very close lake and dirt road. We went for a walk with binoculars and saw deer, langurs, crocodile, hornbills and lots of other birds and lizards too. A much better, slower paced experience and one not to miss. We booked a half day tour with the host. In hindsight we would have booked a different tour. Pillows weren't overly comfortable but was OK for 1 night.

Location was ideal. It's located on the edge of a wetland teeming with birds and has a raised platform for viewing or enjoying your meals. Hosts were extremely kind and attentive. I used the TukTuk service of the host on 2 days, his prices were more than fair, but more importantly, he quickly got a good read on what would interest me and made many impromptu stops pointing out things that interested me. I never felt rushed. Highly recommend, especially for bird watchers. This place lived up to its high rating score.

Terletak di Habarana, 12km dari Pidurangala Rock, Swan Lake Habarana menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. Mr Kalhara is very kind and thoughtful, it was pleasant to stay in his house! Breakfast was very good! Room is super clean. Big bed , clean bedclothes, normally working ac and fan, good hot water! Best recommendations, just book and stay here if it's possible🙂

Dengan pemandangan taman, Oleena Home Stay terletak di Habarana dan mempunyai restoran, khidmat bilik, bar snek, taman dan teres. Jeewa and his family were the perfect hosts. They attended our every need and taught us so much about the local area. Jeewa’s help in recommending places, organising transport, and tuk tuk rides made the stay perfect and effortless. We saw the best parts of Habarana and were sad to leave after three nights. The room and terrace were exceptionally clean and breakfast and evening meal were freshly prepared and available when suited us. Jeewa taught us the history of Sri Lanka and took time out of his day to speak with us. We wouldn’t hesitate returning and would recommend everyone to experience the 5 star service we did. If we are lucky enough to come back to Sri Lanka we will 100% stay with Jeewa again.
