Everything was perfect! An amazing place with a unique vibe unlike anywhere else. Impeccably clean and incredibly pleasant to stay in. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the small fridge was a great bonus. The entire complex is simply stunning – beautifully maintained and full of character. And the breakfast… the pumpkin porridge and sandwiches will stay in my heart forever — absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Oh, and just to add — the thin mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I had a 10/10 quality sleep!

Staying in a hanok was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Strolling through the neighborhood was lovely. It felt like I was in a historical k-drama. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. Services such as luggage storing and taxi reservation made my trip all the more easier. I highly recommend this place

The host was really nice. It was our first time visiting Andong and she kindly proposed where to go and good restaurants as soon as we arrived. And the room was so tidy and clean. I would like to visit this place everytine I go to Andong.☺️

This is a restored and expanded traditional Korean house that offers bed and breakfast, with cultural experience. It is ran by a retired university professor and his wife with passion. The wife, while still active in her career, is also the lady host the of house. She engaged us during breakfast and showcased to us her peronal collection of traditonal Korean costumes and musical instruments. The room we stayed in has ensuite toilet, not usual for a traditional Korean house. The house is in the bustling old town area with many cafe, restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to the Gyeongju monuments.

Breakfast felt like what I imagine it would feel like coming back home to Korea (I was born in Korea, raised in the U.S.)--it was fresh, filling, and prepared with love. The location was also conveniently located to many restaurants, cute little shoppes, and other tourist-y attractions. This was, hands down, my husband's and my favorite part of our Korea trip (we traveled throughout the country: 서울, 부산, 졔주) and one of the main reasons why is because of this stay and its host. We will definitely request to stay with this host when we visit 경주 again.

Junny is an excellent host and provides some really useful information about where to go and where to eat. The accomodation has everything you need if you plan on being out for the day. The room is very clean and new towels are provided every day. The guesthouse is a short walk from the main historical site and a variety of other attractions, restaurants and bars. There are also regular buses from the end of the road.

If you’re looking for an authentic traditional Korean hanok experience, this is the place! First of all, the host was amazing, super helpful and took the time to explain everything about the local area, even helping me create a daily itinerary. He assisted me with ordering a taxi, gave me coffee for the road, and kindly offered an early check-in. Despite there not being many photos of the room, the experience as a solo traveler in the single room was fantastic. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the host provided everything I needed, including a free breakfast. I totally recommend this place, 10/10.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, clean place with a good vibe, perfect location, good shower, strong WiFi, and breakfast.

Located 1 km from Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal, Hanok Raon 한옥 라온 is a guest house in a traditional Korean residential building offering guest rooms with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and air... Beautiful house with floor-warming and heated blanket for winter. Very comfortable for winter season. The owner lady is very kind and friendly. Just knock on her door and she’ll welcome you through the place. Self check in is a very nice experience. The whole place feels safe and peaceful.
