It is surrounded by a tropical garden and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a mosquito net, sockets in each corner (including next to the kingsize bed), multiple electric fans, a brand-new bathroom with a shower that produces hot water immediately (which is rare in Cambodia), and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Furthermore, the WIFI was super fast! The host picks you up at a location of your choice and when you leave, he can take you to your preferred location. During my stay, he suggested an incredible restaurant that was surprisingly cheap for the quality of food, drove me there and picked me up. The highlight of my stay was the tour that the host offered. We drove to local villages that are rarely visited by tourists and took a ride on the famous bamboo train. It was an authentic and unforgettable experience. In short, I highly recommend Odambang Village Homestay. By staying here, you support a local family and you will create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing homestay! Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

One of the nice places we stayed in Cambodia, and we would have stayed longer if we could! The good staff were incredibly attentive, and the lovely owners made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering a very scenic and tranquil setting that enhanced our experience. Plus, the very good Wi-Fi allowed us to stay connected while enjoying the chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

Cutest little place in a very authentic setting, the family running it is just awesome and goes above on beyond to make you feel welcome :-) They even recommended a little local restaurant where we were the only tourists and had the best food we’ve had in Cambodia! 🥳

Our host gave us an afternoon tour of the Killing caves and the temples around the area and we got to see the bats fly out; he was very knowledgeable. And dinner for $5 each was delicious, as was breakfast in the morning.

The hosts and staff were very friendly, kind and fun to hang out with. The room has everything you need; good AC, comfortable bed, hot shower, and the attached bar & restaurant serves tasty homemade food. You can tell they focus on quality rather than profit, making everything from scratch and using ingredients grown themselves or purchased from the local market when in season. The hosts are happy to help you plan things to do in the Battambang area, organize bus travel and if there is a chance they will show you some local life. We had a delicious breakfast at the market, a fun coffee shop experience and heard a lot of interesting stories. We had already booked our bus ticket with VET and they still called the bus company to organize a free pick up from their guesthouse - thank you so much! The service and quality here is something special and we are really glad we chose to stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Mr primprey is the perfect host, he was a tour guide, a chef & information office, he even cooked us food for our last night, nothing was to much trouble all he wanted to do was please you, what an amazing family. Stay here if your ever in Battambang.

I highly recommend staying at Lazy Mango Homestay for anyone visiting Battambang. It is a real homestay where you will have the opportunity to meet a wonderful family and have all the confort you need. They will be able to help you organise cooking class, tuktuk tours, bus booking... We had dinner and breakfast with the family and felt just like home, while learning a lot about khmer real life. One of our best experiences in Cambodia!

Communication with host was easy. Location is very good! Next to the accommodation is Narys Kitchen - The cooking class there is highly recommended.
