Shingo was lovely and so kind offering meals and even storing my bag for me! Would definitely stay again!

The location is great, 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, which I used quite often as I used Ishigaki mainly as a hub between the other islands. There are also lots of eating and drinking spots in walking distance, plus some convenience stores and a supermarket. Kishaba the owner was very kind and helpfull and even took me on a mango picking tour (only during mango season). The room was great and during the time of day when you’re usually at the hostel the aircon is free so it’s quite the relief from the heat when you get back. The shower facilities were nice and clean and the washing machine and dryer were quick and efficient. Overall I had a great stay and if I come back to Ishigaki I will definitely stay here again.

The Guesthouse Ishigaki has been one of my favourite guesthouses ever! Everything is absolutely clean, it has all appliances that you can wish for, especially the kitchen was well equipped. Andi has been an extraordinary host, he cares about every guest and tries his very best to assist with arranging tours and having some great adventures. I can highly recommend doing a daytrip to Iriomote. I felt very welcomed here and can truly recommend this place to every traveller, no matter if you are on your one or with family/friends!

On the day of check in , muu-chan, one of the guest house manager is very kind and luckily we had a great time with other wonderful guests from all over the world, the stars we saw together at night on the near by beach were beautiful! This is one of the best guest house for me.

This guest house features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so kind and welcoming and made this place feel like a second home. The common areas were warm and inviting, and I especially loved the peaceful garden area (with a hammock and outdoor couch for relaxing/reading) and the designated 'library' area with books, strong wifi, and cozy couches to chill out after a busy day of exploring. The hostel is easy walking distance into the town of Kabira (about 7min) and they had bikes available to use (free of charge) if you wanted to venture a little further out of town (i.e., to the beaches). I stayed here for 3 nights, in the dorm, and easily could have stayed another few nights. Thank you to each of the staff members and volunteers who made my time here so enjoyable, you guys are the best!

The staff is super friendly and sweet. The breakfast was delicious and the lady even changed it up a bit every day and was happy to make it vegetarian for me. Also the view was beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and room had everything you need. There's a fridge you can use as well. The location is very quiet, I was able to get around by foot and public transport. There's also a bike rental in town, just don't expect much.

Everything was perfect: - the place - the view - the facilities (traditional, loved my dinner outside on the terrasse on the coffee table japandi style with a glass of wine or banana sake :D) - the confort And especially the owners that are very kind, welcoming and make us feel at home :) Thank you very much, I will come back :)
