Satoshi and Elizabeth are so kind and helped us out hugely during our stay. Satoshi is an AMAZING cook. The food was incredible, so I definitely recommend having dinner at the inn! The room was super comfortable, it was great to have our own little kotatsu and the baths at the inn (both inside and the outside one with the forest view) were divine. If we are ever back in Nikko/Japan we will definitely stay again!

It’s definitely worth staying at least one night (but ideally more—there’s so much to do, especially for those who love nature and hiking). The guesthouse is very comfortable and extremely clean, even in the shared areas. There is great attention to detail. The staff were incredibly kind and truly helpful. A wonderful place.
