This was such an unforgettable experience. We were supposed to stay for just one night but ended up staying 4! Okay, from the beginning. We had different accommodation in Hakuba, but we weren’t satisfied so we were looking for something else and found Dark Horse by chance. The moment we walked into the house, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Andy, Rika, Momo and Hana create something truly special. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and such, but this one will stay in our hearts for a long time. Everything is well thought out, you can see it’s taken care of down to the smallest detail, you can see it’s done properly and not just to be the cheapest. We felt so beautifully hosted. They also have an amazing sake collection to try, and the food is delicious too. Thank you again and we already miss it. I hope we’ll get the chance to meet again. PS. If you’re wondering whether to book a room at Dark Horse, don’t hesitate!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Very nice interior in Japanese traditional style. Very nice staff, host explained us everything abuut the guesthouse and the surrounding area. Everything was clean.

Nawate Guesthouse mempunyai lounge berkongsi, teres, restoran dan bar di Matsumoto. Had a great stay, the hosts are super nice and helpfull and the place itself is really nice. Location is perfect with the highlights of Matsumoto closeby

Terletak di Nozawa, 32km dari Taman Jigokudani Monkey, Togoro mempunyai bilik-bilik dengan pemandangan gunung dan WiFi percuma. The staff were eager to help with any request of ours, a short notice late checkout during the high season only came at a slight fee and they let us store ice cream in the freezer. The daily breakfast was delicious, with homegrown rice and their own family pickled Nozawana recipe. The rooms were a warm respite from the Nozawaonsen cold. Togoro is next to an onsen which we'd recommend using as much as possible. Togoro is next to one of the bus stops on the line from Iiyama station. We couldn't recommend Togoro more and wish the family which runs it all the best in their business.

Terletak di Iiyama, 14km dari Taman Ski Ryuoo, Guest House Hostel yukuru mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan lounge berkongsi. Everything! The hosts were friendly and helpful, they even recommended new spots to visit! The room was spacious and there were nice common areas, everything was super clean and the area around the house is beautiful. The house it’s a bit far from the station but they can pick you up and drop you there by car. It was a great stay!!! 100% recommend :)

Shioriya terletak di Nagano, 7.6km dari Stesen Nagano dan 10km dari Kuil Zenkoji. I absolutely loved this place. Far from the busy city center, I woke up and went for a walk in the neighborhood and found the surrounding Alps greeting me. My room was a traditional styled room that I adored and especially the tub which is fully automatic and feels like a private onsen. But nothing was as special as the hosts. Hearing that I wasn't going to Nagano train station, Mr. Haruhiko drove me to a different train station , making things very convenient for me. And Mrs. Washizawa is, without a doubt, one of the nicest ladies I have ever met in my life. Words cannot describe the charity of this amazing lady. Thank you!
