Satisfied with the dormitory capsule size. Staffs are always friendly and helpful. Pick up service was good, reliable and flexible. Although shared bathroom, it is not quite busy. And shower, toilet and sinks are separate, which is good. Vibe is nice, people lives in the same hostel will always gather around the fireplace and share their day or their culture.

A very nice place on the outskirts of Iiyama. Within about 30-40min walk you can get to the spots of interest in Iiyama (museums, shopping street, etc). I found the house to be spacious and clean. It felt like being at my parents' place. The hosts are very kind and caring. They can accomodate within reason pick up at Iiyama station. The hosts recommended me attractions of interest in Iiyama. I enjoyed them a lot. I went in a rainy day and so my things were wet. Especially my shoes, the hosts did their best at drying them without me having to ask or anything. They also provided a place to put my bicycle so it would be protected from the rain. In the morning, they shared home grown watermelon with me. In short, I felt welcomed and I had a warming experience. I absolutely recommend choosing this guest house.

Shioriya terletak di Nagano, 7.6km dari Stesen Nagano dan 10km dari Kuil Zenkoji. The Hosts were superb. The breakfast meals were wonderful. They sent us back to the USA with some of their favorite treats and a gift for our young daughters. She taught us to make an origami crane. It was easy to find off the bus line from Nagano station and they gave us excellent tour recommendations when we decided to skip skiing due to lack of fresh snow.
