Do yourself a favour and stay here, you will not regret it!

The owners Kimi and Miyu are wonderful people, and their kids are awesome too! Breakfast was good with lots of variety and different items every day. All of the facilities, including our room were very well kept and very clean. They gave great suggestions about where to eat and where to enjoy the slopes. Best of all was just hanging out with them and the other guests at the end of the day, while all of the kids played together. I recommend the yuzu sake with a splash of gin!

A Perfect Stay at The Bunk House – Amazing Host & Epic Snow! I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Bunk House in Myoko, and it was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The accommodations were cozy, clean, and perfect for a ski trip. The common areas had a great vibe—ideal for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. But what really made this stay exceptional was the host—super helpful, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone had a great experience. And then there’s the snow—Myoko delivered some of the best conditions I’ve ever skied in! Deep powder, endless terrain, and easy access to the slopes made every day an adventure. If you’re looking for an awesome place to stay in Myoko with a fantastic host and world-class snow, The Bunk House is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredibly warm and friendly staff, we felt so welcome and comfortable the entire stay. Was great having a large lounge downstairs with a bar and food available so we could gather there together with friends who were staying at nearby lodging. It’s a short walk to all the activity/restaurants on the main drag, and to the ski lift/ticket office. Facilities are older but very clean and we never lacked for anything. We appreciated the fresh hot tea and treats each afternoon in the room, and great breakfast/coffee each morning. Shinja, Kenji, Hitomi and their families were so sweet and incredibly helpful with everything to make sure we had an enjoyable visit. We are planning to stay at Hotel Mumon again on any future visits to the area!

This was my second time back at Woody House and I'll be back again next year. Midori and Kaz are super helpful and are wonderful hosts. They will also make sure you're getting to where you need to go for the day which is amazing. Wouldn't miss another season without coming here

Menawarkan akses ski di depan pintu, Soratobu Usagi terletak di Myoko di kawasan Niigata, 31km dari Stesen Nagano dan 43km dari Zoo Suzaka. The Staff were fantastic as were the meals, Breakfast and Dinner. This is located outside of the main Akakura tourist area and without a car can be a little difficult getting to Akakura, but having 2 meals per day catered for (Optional extra) is highly recommended. You couldn't get the same value else where in a restaurant and it's on site. Bravo on the convenience and quality of food. Congratulations on such a service to your customers.
