Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. My family had an exceptional time at Guesthouse Soi. They went far and beyond to help us with everything. My kids can't wait to go back there!

From communications prior to our arrival to meeting our host and the entire stay, we had a wonderful experience! The kitchen is large and fully stocked, they have a washer and dryer, and the rooms were exactly as listed. Our host was courteous and the staff would keep the guest house super clean. They even gave us a bottle of fresh squeezed locally farmed mandarin juice, which was delicious.

Loved the size of the apartment. We believe it is new considering that the interiors look brand new. We also loved the amenities - the washing machine was a great plus! The beds were comfortable. I do wish that there were 2 pillows for each bed though. As for the location, it is about 8-10 min walk from Dobutsuen-Mae Station (Midosuji Line) and Shin-Imamiya Station (convenient for Osaka Loop/Nankai Trains to the Kansai International Airport). Mega Store Donki and Tsutenkaku Tower are also nearby.

My family and I liked how spacious, convenient and warm welcoming our host was! The location was few minutes walking distance to local restaurants and family mart. It was also approximately 8 minutes from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and in front of the bus stop heading towards to Nachi. Our host, Sasaki-san, was also kind to give us an introduction to the place along with offering free icecream, beer and sake! Overall we recommend this place!
