This is a HomeStay true to word - I felt really at home here. Takako is an amazing host who made feel very welcomed. The dinner she cooks is so tasty, I was looking forward to it every day. The place is simple and authentic which I liked a lot, and is kept super clean. I also liked the location as it is very calm and 15 minutes walk to a more secluded beach which has nice sunsets. It’s also very convenient that you can directly rent a bike and snorkeling gear, I used that to explore the island and snorkel and several spots.

Kerama Backpackers terletak di Tokashiki, 2.6km dari Pantai Tokashiku dan 3.2km dari Teruyama Observatory. The hostel owner was incredibly friendly. He offers pick-ups from the ferry port and drives you to the beach in the morning and can recommend places to eat etc. There is a communal kitchen you can use. The athmosphere in the hostel is very familiar and cozy!

Located on the beautiful Zamami Island, Guesthouse Iyonchi is a 5-minute walk from Zamami Port. A beach can be reached within a 15-minute walk. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They even notified us about an upcoming typhoon which was going to affect the ferry's schedule. The room was clean and spacious. The guesthouse also rents e-scooters and organizes daily snorkeling tours. Really nice experience!
