The room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. The shower was very good too. The hosts were very helpful and kind, allowing us to leave our bags after check out and arranging transport to the port on our departure day. They also left bananas and water in the room which were appreciated! The location of the House is great - right by the water and an easy walk to the Ando Museum and Art House area, but also just half an hour walk to the Benesse / Chichu side of the island. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops / cafes short walks from the House. We had a great stay here and would really recommend staying at Yellow House!

Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

I absolutely love Japanese style house which is why I chose this booking and It was even above my expectations. This place looks even better than on the pictures. Very beautiful house. The host is also exceptional. I've never experienced such kindness from a host in my life. They offered me daily drop off at the station (because I had no car), invited me for eating together delicious food, offered drinks, food, prepared my bath every night, cleaned the room daily, make sure I had no problems throughout my staying and more... Don't hesitate to book this place this is really a "must stay". The cat is also kind & lovely 🥰
