We had reserved rooms with "mountain view", but the rooms were actually on the backside of the building with views of the valley rather than Etna. After much discussion, we were able to pay an extra 20 Euro per room to move to suites with Etna view. The only rooms with Etna view are the three suites with jacuzzi baths, all on the ground floor. The pool is nice, but really doesn't have much of a view as there is a large building next door.blocking the view. The suites were very modern with comfortable beds.

It is located 2.2 km from Villagonia Beach and features luggage storage space. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Nando and his daughter, Carlotta, were amazing. From the very beginning, they responded very quickly to messages and gave us great advice for things to do and places to eat. The room was beautiful and the breakfast provided in the room was great. It’s just outside of the town’s main walking area so it was nice to be away from the crowds.

Santa was an exceptional host and took our booking on a very short notice. Our stay at another location was blocked off by police due to weather or an accident. I literally booked the stay driving down Mt Etna and showed up within 30min so I really appreciate Santa for accommodating us. The property is very close to a parking area and not on a busy street. Everything was incredibly clean and modern. The living room was very comfy to work in and WiFi was really fast. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic!!
